you can format your usb, or use the antivirus software to kill it.
Well, the only way to clean out your pen-drive is to run anti-virus and anti-malware software on it. Depending on the virus, simply deleted a suspected file often does not cure the infected device.
You will need to plug it into a PC, and scan it with a couple of security programs. If you don’t have any security programs on your PC, or aren’t sure about the ones you have, I advise downloading:
Avast! Anti-Virus
http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html
Ad-Aware Anti-Spyware
http://www.lavasoft.com/products/ad_aware_free.php
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html?part=dl-10804572&subj=dl&tag=button
Install and update them on your PC, then plug in your pen-drive, and scan it with each program. Start with Avast!, then Malwarebytes, and finally Ad-Aware.
Once your pen-drive is clean, you should keep those programs on your PC to protect you in the future. Enable live protection on Avast! and Ad-Aware, and keep Malwarebytes as a back-up and scanner. This willl keep you protected in the future.
Hope this helps
Good luck
try using shift +delete
or if the virus comes from usb stick then before the autoplay of the stick scan the stick
while your flash drive is plugged in go into my computer then into the windows folder and delete your win32 folder….there is a tutorial on how to do this at
wowomg.com
I also such a problem that my antivirur software don’t detect this autorun file as a virus. Also I can’t delete it or format my usb drive.
It is better to install usb disk security software or MacAfee antivirus software
you need to delete some other files too, here’s the removal guide: http://www.spywarevoid.com/remove-kido-worm-kido-removal.html
I am supposing that you are using Windows XP
1.Open my computer
2.Top menu > tools > folder options
3.Click on view tab
4.Check show hidden files and uncheck hide protected system files and click OK button.
On top icons (standard buttons bar) click folders icon. From right side select your usb to show all usb files then delete suspected files.
Install any antivirus, i recommend you avg free
Thanks
